Prepared by: Charity Helpers Foundation
Date: 2025-06-14
Version: 1.0

---

**CONCEPT SUMMARY**
Echo Run is a dual-focus sport combining memory recall and obstacle running. Players observe a visual or audio sequence before racing through an obstacle course to recreate the sequence at the finish line.

---

**REQUIRED EQUIPMENT**

- Obstacle course materials (hurdles, cones, crawling tunnels, etc.)
- Sequence board or light/sound pattern device
- Tokens or color cards
- Whiteboards and markers (optional for final answer display)
- Stopwatch or timer

---

**FIELD LAYOUT**

- Start line with pattern display
- Mid-course with standard obstacles
- End zone with sequence reconstruction area

---

**PLAYER ROLES**

- 1–4 players per team
- 1 sequence operator
- 1 obstacle judge
- 1 scorekeeper

---

**GAME OBJECTIVE**

Correctly recall and reproduce a sequence at the end of the course, faster than the opposing team and with fewer memory errors.

---

**BASIC RULES**

1. Before starting, players are shown or played a color/sound/word sequence.
2. Player begins sprinting through the obstacle course.
3. At the end, player must recreate the sequence using tokens or answer board.
4. Each correct element = +1 point; incorrect = -1.
5. Fastest accurate response wins.
6. Players cannot stop mid-course to write anything down. Must rely on memory.

---

**VARIATIONS / SCALING IDEAS**

- **Multi-Stage Echo**: Repeat with longer sequences each round
- **Partner Echo**: One runs, other recalls based on whispered clues
- **Sensory Mix**: Combine sound, color, number, or directional patterns
- **Surprise Switch**: Mid-run obstacle shift that requires extra adjustment

---

**STAT TRACKING SUGGESTIONS**

- Total recall accuracy
- Average obstacle time
- Number of perfect sequences
- Final composite score (speed + accuracy)
- Team recall skill rank

---

**NOTES**
Echo Run encourages mental sharpness under physical stress. A great sport for combining athletic and cognitive abilities, adaptable for indoor or outdoor events. It works well with youth teams, fundraisers, and developmental programs.
